At a time when Vietnam's resort real estate market is increasingly competing through lavish architecture and extravagant materials, Crystal Holidays Heritage Lý Sơn, developed by Everland Group, is taking a very different path - one rooted in the island's cultural heritage, designed around human scale, and committed to the ambitious goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions.
As a new-generation special economic zone nestled along the breathtaking Bai Tu Long Bay, Van Don is rapidly emerging as an attractive alternative for travelers seeking more exclusive and authentic experiences beyond crowded coastal destinations such as Ha Long, Sam Son, or Hai Phong. With a new generation of five-star resorts coming into operation from the summer of 2026, the destination is entering an exciting new chapter.
On June 20, 2026, at Ly Son Special Zone, Quang Ngai Province, Everland Group Joint Stock Company (HOSE: EVG) officially broke ground on the Crystal Holidays Heritage Ly Son project. The event marks another significant milestone for Everland in its journey as a sustainable real estate developer and a pioneer in creating integrated tourism and hospitality ecosystems that celebrate Vietnam's cultural heritage.
The year 2026 is expected to be a pivotal milestone for Van Don as the area moves toward establishing a new-generation Special Economic Zone with distinctive mechanisms and policies designed to remove bottlenecks, address development challenges, and strengthen regional and international competitiveness. At the same time, Van Don is gradually benefiting from a more open legal and policy framework aimed at attracting investment and promoting key economic sectors, particularly tourism infrastructure, logistics, and clean marine industries.
If Bali, despite congestion and pollution, still attracts 6.5 million visitors annually, then Van Don — with many comparable advantages — remains like a precious gem hidden beneath turquoise waters.
On February 2, 2026, in Hanoi, Everland Group held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement on the development of real estate projects with Panasonic Electric Works Vietnam (a member of the global Panasonic Group). This event marks Everland’s continued efforts toward enhancing the quality of its real estate products.
On January 6, 2026, as part of its working program in Quang Ninh Province, a delegation from the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien – Deputy Head of the Commission – conducted on-site inspections of several key projects in Van Don Special Zone, including the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don Tourism, Resort and Entertainment Complex, developed by Everland Van Don Joint Stock Company.
On December 19, 2025, Everland Van Don Joint Stock Company (a member of Everland Group) solemnly held the inauguration ceremony and official plaque installation recognizing Phase I (Towers A and B) of the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don Tourism, Resort and Entertainment Complex as a commemorative project celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
When the expectations for becoming a special economic zone faded and the tourism real estate market shifted into a defensive mode, Van Don faced the risk of becoming an unfinished destination. Yet, Everland Group’s steadfast implementation of the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don project was not only a counter-cyclical investment decision but a strategic step in building destination capacity to place Van Don on the international tourism map.
Everland Group's core business is real estate, both now and in the future. To become a sustainable real estate developer, the Group has pursued a diversified investment strategy, targeting a diverse range of customers with a variety of property product segments such as tourism and hospitality, urban and residences, offices, and commercial centers.
