Successful candidates are expected to begin work on 1 August 2026 and will undergo comprehensive training in accordance with international five-star hotel operating standards before welcoming the property's first guests.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Maurizio Susan, General Manager of Centara Hotel & Residences Van Don, emphasized that people remain at the heart of the hospitality industry.
He noted that while a hotel may be built with the finest materials, memorable guest experiences can only be created by passionate, dedicated, and highly professional associates. According to Mr. Susan, Centara Talent Day is more than a recruitment event, it is an opportunity to meet future colleagues who share a passion for hospitality, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ambition to build long-term careers.
As preparations continue for the hotel's opening, Centara aims not only to establish an international-standard hospitality destination but also to create a workplace where every team member has opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Mr. Dao Van Vu, Standing Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Don Special Zone, stated that Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don, together with the international management expertise of Centara Hotels & Resorts, will help elevate the quality of the area's tourism and hospitality services to international standards. The project will also contribute to Van Don's vision of becoming a modern, green, smart, and sustainable coastal city as well as a next-generation special economic zone.
He further noted that the recruitment program not only enables the hotel to attract high-quality talent but also creates valuable employment opportunities, strengthens the local tourism workforce, and contributes to the socio-economic development of the region. The local government, he affirmed, will continue supporting the project to ensure its successful development and reinforce Van Don's position as an attractive destination to visit, work, and live.
The recruitment event took place as Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don enters its final preparation phase before opening.
The project's A and B towers have completed all structural works, podiums, basements, landscaping, infinity pools, indoor swimming pools, and key resort facilities. The developer is currently handing over privately owned units to purchasers while simultaneously transferring the serviced apartments, technical infrastructure, landscaping, and public amenities to Centara Hotels & Resorts (Thailand), enabling the operator to implement international five-star service standards.
The official opening and commencement of Phase I operations, comprising Towers A, B, and the International Convention Center (Tower F), are scheduled for early September 2026.

The project's A and B towers are entering their final preparation stage ahead of welcoming guests.
Construction of Towers C and D has substantially completed the structural framework and main building works. Contractors are currently installing the glass façade, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems, fire protection systems, while interior finishing, ceiling installation, flooring, and apartment fit-outs are progressing. Partial handover of customer-owned units is expected to begin in early Q4 2026.
Meanwhile, Tower F, the International Convention Center, has completed its structural works, façade installation, MEP systems, fire
protection systems, and elevators. Interior fit-out, audiovisual systems, lighting, and operational equipment are now being installed to ensure readiness for both the grand opening and the launch of Phase I operations.
The simultaneous completion of physical infrastructure, expansion of the operational workforce, and final pre-opening preparations demonstrate that Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don is approaching full operation. Beyond adding another internationally managed hospitality property to Van Don, the development is expected to become a new landmark within Everland's tourism ecosystem, enhancing the destination's accommodation capacity, enriching visitor experiences, and supporting the continued growth of Quang Ninh's tourism industry./.
