These positive results stemmed from the province's implementation of numerous tourism-friendly policies and the organization of hundreds of promotional programs and events. Since the beginning of the year, Quang Ninh has hosted dozens of national and provincial-level international tourism promotion events, along with 160 local-level activities.
The province also expanded its tourism spaces, effectively leveraging the World Natural Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay and extending to Bai Tu Long Bay, and the coastal and island areas of Van Don, Cam Pha, and Co To, particularly the Quan Lan and Minh Chau islands. New high-end tourism products launched this year include the Angsana Quan Lan resort, Wyndham Garden Sonasea Van Don, and international-standard 5-star cruise services exploring Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and the Van Don archipelago. These offerings have enhanced visitor experiences and increased Quang Ninh's appeal as a premier tourist destination.
With its well-developed transportation infrastructure, diverse experiences, and unique, high-quality tourism products that highlight the natural beauty, people, and culture of Quang Ninh, the province is experiencing a strong and impressive tourism recovery. This momentum positions Quang Ninh to achieve its goal of welcoming over 19 million visitors in 2024.
