GRAND LAUNCH OF TWO LUXURY CRUISE SHIPS SERVING BAI TU LONG BAY TOURISTS
On May 5, at Ao Tien International Port (Van Don), Everland Group officially launched two high-end cruise ships, Crystal Holidays 991 and Crystal Holidays 992, to serve tourists exploring Bai Tu Long Bay this summer.

On this occasion, Crystal Holidays Joint Stock Company (a member of Everland Group) also introduced a new tourism itinerary named "The Beauty of Van Don," featuring three routes:

  1. Ao Tien Port – Tay Hoi Island – Lucky Cat Islet – Ban Sen Island – Nha Tro Cave.

  2. Ao Tien Port – Phat Co Cave – Pearl Farming Area (Da Den Islet) – Lao Vong Lagoon – Dua Islet (Du Islet) – Minh Chau Island.

  3. Ao Tien Port – Cai De Cave – Cai Lim Cave.

These routes are part of the Bai Tu Long Bay tourism itineraries officially announced by Quang Ninh province on March 29.

"White Swans" on the Sea

Crystal Holidays 991 and 992 are the first two cruise ships in Everland Group's project to develop a fleet of high-end day and overnight cruise ships, aiming to offer tours around Bai Tu Long Bay and connecting routes between Bai Tu Long Bay, Ha Long Bay, and Lan Ha Bay (Hai Phong).

Each ship has a capacity of 99 passengers, making them among the largest and most modern day cruise ships in Van Don. Designed with a luxurious yacht style and painted in striking white contrasting with the blue sea, the pair resembles elegant "white swans" gliding across the water.

Each ship features three distinct decks:

  • Deck 1: A spacious main passenger cabin with panoramic views of Bai Tu Long Bay. The rear of the ship is designed with a lowered platform to expand and optimize public space for guests.

  • Deck 2: A VIP area with luxurious interiors, an outdoor swimming pool, and a sundeck for sunbathing.

  • Deck 3: An open-air space equipped with relaxing chairs, tea and coffee tables, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments while taking in the scenery.

Safety systems, including fire prevention, rescue boats, life jackets, and warning systems, are all designed and equipped to meet international safety standards.

Additionally, the ships boast a 5-star restaurant offering both buffet and à la carte menus with a diverse selection of Asian and European dishes, prepared and served by professional hotel chefs. Immediately after the launch ceremony, Crystal Holidays 991 and 992 began serving tourists on the "The Beauty of Van Don" itinerary, with daily departures.

Key Components in Van Don's Tourism Ecosystem

The launch of the two luxury cruise ships and the "The Beauty of Van Don" itinerary are significant components in the comprehensive tourism ecosystem that Everland Group and Crystal Holidays are striving to establish in Van Don, encompassing accommodations, travel agencies, transportation, and tourism services.

Everland Group is accelerating the construction and early operation of the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don complex. Strategically located with dual frontage facing Bai Tu Long Bay, the complex comprises five towers ranging from 28 to 34 floors, featuring 2,274 tourist apartments and 5-star hotels, along with a 1,500-seat international convention center, catering to all tourist needs from accommodation, leisure, conferences, shopping, to entertainment and dining.

On February 20, Crystal Holidays signed strategic cooperation agreements with leading international travel agencies, including H&T Travel (Taiwan), Astar Travel (China), Century Travel & Marketing (South Korea), Fantasea Travel, and Luxury Tour (Vietnam), to attract inbound tourists to Van Don and Bai Tu Long Bay.

These partners will collaborate with Crystal Holidays to promote Van Don and Bai Tu Long Bay to the world, focusing on the Northeast Asian market, with the goal of attracting inbound tourists to Van Don in the summer of 2025.

The investment in 5-star hotel complexes, the launch of luxury cruise ships, and the introduction of the "The Beauty of Van Don" itinerary demonstrate Everland Group's commitment to developing a comprehensive tourism service ecosystem in Van Don, aiming to transform the area into an attractive destination for both domestic and international tourists in the near future.
