Dr. Le Dinh Vinh – Chairman of the Board of Everland Group – hands over the appointment decision to Mr. Maurizio Susan, newly appointed General Manager of Centara Hotel & Residences Van Don.

Mr. Maurizio Susan, an Italian national, brings with him over 30 years of global experience in hotel and resort management. His career spans leadership roles across prestigious hospitality brands such as Accor, Sofitel, Westin, and Eastin Grand. A seasoned traveler with deep cultural fluency, Mr. Susan is known for his ability to design and tailor services that align with diverse guest preferences, particularly in emerging tourism markets.

Beyond operations, Mr. Susan is also recognized for his expertise in brand development and restructuring within the travel and hospitality sector. He has been instrumental in numerous brand repositioning projects across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. His background also includes revenue management, team development, and delivering customer experiences adapted to segmented market demands.

In his new role, Mr. Susan will lead the operational setup and service system for the hotel, ensuring Centara Hotel & Residences Van Don operates in accordance with international 5-star standards and caters to the evolving expectations of both domestic and international travelers.

Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don is set to launch Phase 1 operations by the end of 2025.

Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don is a 5-star integrated tourism, resort, and entertainment complex developed by Everland Group. The development comprises five towers ranging from 28 to 34 floors, offering more than 2,200 rooms, a 1,500-seat international convention center, and a full suite of luxury amenities.

Phase 1, which includes Towers A, B, and F, is set to be inaugurated and brought into operation by the end of 2025. The entire complex is expected to be completed by early 2027. Once in full operation, the project will stand among the largest high-end tourism complexes in the region, contributing significantly to positioning Van Don and Quang Ninh as premier travel destinations in Vietnam.
