Crystal Holidays Ready to Embark on the "Beauty of Van Don" Journeys
On March 29, 2025, Quang Ninh Province held a ceremony to announce the launch of new tourism routes in Bai Tu Long Bay, aiming to create new development opportunities and attract 20 million visitors in 2025. On this occasion, Crystal Holidays (a tourism brand under Everland Group) has prepared all necessary conditions to offer exploration journeys of Bai Tu Long Bay and conquer the "Beauty of Van Don" with tourists this summer.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Duc An – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh – Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Pham Van Thuy – Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr. Vu Duc Huong – Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Don District; along with representatives from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of relevant departments and localities.

The new tourism routes in Bai Tu Long Bay include five journeys:

  2. Ao Tien Port – Phat Co Cave – Black Stone Pearl Farming Area – Lao Vong Canal – Dua Islet – Minh Chau Island;

Additionally, there are two connecting routes between Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay:

  • Visiting Ban Sen Island and Nha Tro Cave.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh emphasized that Van Don is one of Quang Ninh's four key tourism centers, possessing a significant portion of Bai Tu Long Bay—a uniquely beautiful marine area featuring numerous large and small islands, pristine beaches, and valuable nature reserves. Bai Tu Long Bay holds exceptional tourism value and is crucial for ecological conservation, intertwined with historical and cultural maritime values. Notably, Bai Tu Long National Park, recognized as an ASEAN Heritage Park, stands out in Vietnam's nature conservation efforts.

To maximize the value of tourism resources, Quang Ninh Province has implemented a sustainable tourism development strategy, continuously protecting and promoting the value of the world natural heritage sites of Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. The province also develops tourism routes connecting heritage sites, creating new and attractive experiences for tourists, thereby boosting the tourism industry in localities within the province.

The launch of the Bai Tu Long Bay tourism routes marks an important step in the exploitation and development of tourism products in this area. This event not only opens up opportunities for tourism development but also gradually shapes the tourism organization space in Bai Tu Long Bay – Van Don, creating new momentum for local tourism, aiming to attract high-end tourists.

Crystal Holidays (a member of Everland Group) is a pioneer in developing an "All-in-One" smart tourism ecosystem, including comprehensive services such as travel agencies, tourist transportation, accommodation, and other tourism services. Crystal Holidays is proud to be one of the units accompanying the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province and Van Don District in organizing the launch of Bai Tu Long Bay tourism routes and actively contributing to the success of the event.

On this occasion, Crystal Holidays also released a promotional video titled "The Beauty of Van Don" and introduced a set of tour products named "The Beauty of Van Don Journeys," featuring three officially operated routes in Bai Tu Long Bay using modern tourist boats this summer:

  1. Ao Tien Port – Tay Hoi Island – Lucky Cat Islet – Ban Sen Island – Nha Tro Cave;

  2. Ao Tien Port – Phat Co Cave – Black Stone Islet – Lao Vong Fishing Village;

  3. Ao Tien Port – Cai De Cave – Cai Lim Cave.

Currently, Crystal Holidays operates a fleet of tourist boats in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay, with connections to Bai Tu Long Bay. In February 2025, the company launched two high-end tourist boats, Crystal Holidays 99-1 and Crystal Holidays 99-2, each with a capacity of 99 seats, expected to be deployed in Bai Tu Long Bay during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Beyond developing quality tourism products and services, Crystal Holidays proactively collaborates with leading domestic and international travel agencies to bring Van Don and Bai Tu Long Bay tourism products closer to Vietnamese and international tourists. On February 20, 2025, Crystal Holidays signed strategic cooperation agreements with top international travel agencies, including H&T Travel (Taiwan, China), Astar Travel (China), Century Travel & Marketing (South Korea), Fantasea Travel, and Luxury Tour (Vietnam), to bring inbound tourists to Van Don and Bai Tu Long Bay.

These partners will collaborate with Crystal Holidays in promoting Van Don and Bai Tu Long Bay destinations globally, focusing on the Northeast Asian market, aiming to attract inbound tourists to Van Don and Bai Tu Long Bay in the summer of 2025. The parties will also jointly develop and exploit 4-5 star tourism products and services in Van Don and Bai Tu Long Bay, including the "One Vacation – Two Destinations" product, connecting inbound tours from Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Ha Long to Van Don, extending vacations and enhancing experiences for tourists at new destinations.

Additionally, Everland Group is actively implementing the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don project—the first international 5-star resort, tourism, and entertainment complex in Van Don—to address the current bottleneck hindering Van Don's tourism development: the lack of tourism infrastructure, luxury hotels, restaurants, and international-standard tourism products and services.

Strategically located with panoramic views embracing both sides of Bai Tu Long Bay, the Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don complex comprises five high-rise towers ranging from 28 to 34 floors. Thoughtfully master-planned, the project features 2,274 five-star hotel rooms and resort apartments that fulfill a wide array of functions and needs — from accommodation and leisure to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Crystal Holidays Harbour Van Don is envisioned as a "Connected City" imbued with a global lifestyle, offering an ideal living and working environment where residents are fully immersed in nature and seamlessly connected to the rhythm of the world. It is a destination where all essential needs are integrated within one singular, vibrant ecosystem.

With a long-term vision, a well-defined development strategy, and serious investment in product and service quality, Crystal Holidays is steadily affirming its position as a pioneer in the field of high-end resort tourism. The company’s close collaboration with Quang Ninh Province in organizing conferences, developing tourism routes in Van Don and Bai Tu Long Bay, and investing in premium hospitality infrastructure reflects its strong commitment to sustainable tourism development — one that is closely tied to the preservation of cultural, scenic, and community values.
